The person with more power/responsibility should NOT emphasise his/her own personal freedom/rights, but focus more on serving the community at large. Whereas the individual who is lower down the hierarchy can be more ‘selfish’! Since the domain of authority of those higher up is large, & thereby includes other (smaller) persons, they cannot exercise unrestrained control over even what is ‘theirs’…

When I (seek/try to) follow what someone else believes is right/best (for all), without being convinced of its truth/validity, it becomes a curse for me!
The same applies also to a situation where I expect/require others to follow my convictions with which they are not (yet fully) in agreement…
