“அவள் அப்படித்தான்” Tamil movie review (4/5 – Hit!) 

I had to watch this, after reading the director’s daughter’s article, it was a tribute to her father. 

Not just another feminist film! I think it’s a very personal film, maybe even autobiographical… 

A rebuke & a warning to all wannabe male feminists, like me! 

Poetic, poignant & critical, not just ideological propaganda or a purely aesthetic narrative. 

Way, way ahead of its time! Subversive and sentimental at the same time. I never thought that was possible…… 

A film about film-making too. Truly a great movie. 

I downloaded it from YouTube. Very bad video & audio quality! 😠
